For the second year in a row Luke is the Elks Hoop Shoot State Champion. Luke now moves on to New England's representing Plymouth Elks.
The work is titled "I, and the Village (of Plymouth)" after Marc Chagall's famous painting "I, and the Village". Inspired by his childhood village of Vitebsk, Russia, Chagall often recreated memories in his own dreamlike style in his artwork. Our 3rd graders used Chagall's work and the beautiful surrounding Plymouth, NH area as a jumping off point for their compositions. The work will be on display through January 28 in the lobby of Silver Cultural Arts Center. In addition, the ETC performance Fiddler on the Roof runs through January 28. For more information, call the box office M-F 11am-4pm: 603 535 2787."
