Mr. Mark Halloran

Mark Halloran has been either an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent in SAU #48 for the past 26 years. A social studies teacher and coach at heart, Superintendent Halloran has been a resident of Plymouth for over 30 years. He is married with two adult children.

Mrs. Kyla Welch

Kyla A. Welch became the Assistant Superintendent of Schools July 1, 2013.  She joined SAU 48 in 2008 as a Special Education Administrator at Campton Elementary School.  Mrs. Welch has taught both regular and special education at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.  She has served in the capacity as a building level and central office administrator in SAU 48 and other districts within New Hampshire.  

Mrs. Welch holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study and a Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership.  Her undergraduate work includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education.  Mrs. Welch is a New Hampshire certified Superintendent of Schools, School Principal, Special Education Administrator, Special Education Teacher (K-12), Emotional/ Behavioral Disturbance Teacher (K-12), and Elementary Education Teacher (K-8).  Mrs. Welch resides in Thornton with her husband, Ryan, and two children Dylan and Mackenzie who attend Thornton Central School

Mrs. Ethel Gaides

Ethel Gaides started her educational journey in SAU #48 as a Library Media Specialist at Plymouth Regional High School in 1990. She is deeply committed to SAU #48 and to the success of the students and teachers. Positions held in SAU #48 include: PRHS Library Media Specialist, Campton Technology Integrator and School Principal, and currently SAU #48 Assistant Superintendent of Schools. Prior to her longevity in SAU #48, she taught for six years in preschool-grade 2 classrooms, and three years in grades K-8 library media centers.

Dr. Gaides holds a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from Sarasota University. Additionally, she holds a Master of Education in School Librarianship/Media from Bridgewater State College, and a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership/Curriculum and Assessment from Plymouth State University. Her undergraduate work includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Eastern Nazarene College.

She resides in Thornton with her husband, Roger. She enjoys her daughters and grandchildren who have attended SAU #48 schools, geocaching, creating and teaching online courses for PSU and the NH Online Professional Learning Network (OPEN NH), and grant writing.

Mrs. Kim DiSalvo

Kim joins the SAU administrative team after over 25 years of experience working with students with special needs. She has worked as a speech-language pathologist, lead teacher at a school for students with special needs, and various other leadership positions. She joined the SAU in 2012 as an SLP, working with students in the elementary schools and Preschool Assist Program. Kim has her B.A. in English from the University of Connecticut and her M.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Montclair State University. She also holds NH certifications as a Special Education Administrator and School Principal and is an ASHA certified SLP. In her free time, Kim enjoys participating in all the varied outdoor activities NH has to offer, including skiing, snowshoeing, kayaking and boating. Kim lives in Thornton with her spouse and young son.

Mr. Daniel Rossner

Dan joined the staff of SAU #48 in October of 2013 having previously served in SAU #4 since June of 2008. Prior to becoming a School Business Administrator he worked in private Industry as a Finance & Operations executive. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Boston University and a Masters Degree (Business Administration) from Bryant University. He resides in Holderness with his wife Liz and their 3 children, Jacob, Matthew and Izabella all of whom attended or are still attending schools in SAU #48.
