Mr. Joseph Sampson

Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Joseph Sampson

Hi!  My name is Joe Sampson and I am the Principal at Wentworth Elementary School. I was born, raised and educated in NH. I grew up playing soccer, skiing, hiking, biking and boating in, on and around the White Mountains! My goal is to always bring my excitement about academic excellence and community building to Wentworth!

Before being hired in Wentworth I was a teacher in Laconia School District for 8 years at the elementary and middle level. I was a special educator, reading interventionist and youth behavior specialist.  In addition, I coached soccer, cross country and ski racing.

Before Laconia I taught English and Video production at Okemo Mountain School in Ludlow, VT. I also coached ski racing.

In my free time, I enjoy skiing, boating, hiking, cycling and camping with my wife, daughter, son and dog!  See you in the woods!
