Cafe Services

The members of the Fresh Picks Café team are pleased to have the opportunity to serve the students of Campton Elementary School.

Over the 20 years Fresh Picks Café has been feeding children in settings from school cafeterias to summer camp mess halls, we’ve watched as thousands of kids across New England have grown healthy & strong at our tables. We’re proud to continue that tradition as we help your food service program grow and develop into a strong and vibrant part of your community.

The innovative programs and new items that will be introduced over the course of the school year are just the beginning.  As we introduce new concepts, nutrition education programs and fun filled events in the café, we will help to develop healthy eating habits that will last long after graduation.

Any questions or comments are appreciated.  Either write in to the school or give me a call at 726-3931 between 8-1:30 Monday – Friday.

Your Food Service Director,

Katherine Tilton

What is School Nursing?
“School Nursing is a specialized practice of professional nursing that advances the well-being, academic success, and life-long achievement of students. To that end, school nurses facilitate positive student responses to normal development; promote health and safety; intervene with actual or potential health problems, provide case management service; and actively collaborate with others to build student and family capacity for adaptation, self-management, self-advocacy and learning.”- -National Association of School Nurses-

Title 1 - Mrs. Charlene Whitman

The Title I program enables schools to provide opportunities for children served to acquire the knowledge and skills contained in the State’s challenging content and performance standards that all children are expected to meet. Title I programs supplement a child’s basic educational program. Title I is designed to help disadvantaged children meet challenging content and student performance standards. Title I provides assistance to meet the educational needs of children who are failing or most at risk of failing to meet a State’s challenging content and student performance standards.

Here, at CES, children receiving Title I support will be taught using the Leveled Literacy Intervention Program (LLI), as well as the necessary review, support, and additional instruction in their classroom literacy program, Reading Street.
