There have been several confirmed cases of the Flu at PES. Please click here for more information.

There have been two confirmed cases of the flu here at PES.   Flu symptoms can include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills, feeling tired and sometimes vomiting and diarrhea (more common in children than adults). If your child has any of the above, please keep them home. Some people with the flu will not have a fever.  If your child has a fever, please keep them home for at least 24 hours after their fever is gone. (The fever should be gone without the use of a fever-reducing medicine such as Tylenol or Motrin.) A fever is defined as 100°F (37.8°C) or higher.  Please call or email me if you have any questions or concerns.  Kindly, Nurse Kate
